Chapter Holds Scholarship Golf Tournament

The chapter's spring Crawford-Fuller Scholarship Golf Tournament was held in May at Shaw Air Force Base Carolina Lakes Golf Course. The event was supported by members and corporate sponsors with generous contributions to chapter scholarship and STEM awards programs for rising high school seniors and service personnel in their freshman and sophomore years of college who are pursuing STEM careers. Among the 10 four-person teams waging a battle of the greens to see who would win first, second and third place were Col. Stamatis Smeltz, USAF, U.S. Air Forces Central Command A-6 and chapter president, and Col. Joseph Sublousky, USAF (Ret.), former chapter president. Corporate sponsors for this event were Intel; FCN Inc. Technology Solutions; Fidelis Security; Walker Associates; Nimble Storage; Dell; and Proofpoint. Thanks to all corporate sponsors who supported the golf tournament and the chapter's efforts to promote STEM awards.
