Golf Tournaments Raises Funds for STEM |
In August, the chapter held its 6th annual golf tournament in conjunction with the local Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) community. This year's tournament raised over $3,000 towards annual science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) scholarship awards. These awards are given to local high school seniors majoring in STEM heading into their college education. Many DISA associates golfed side-by-side with industry partners to make this event a success. Next year’s tournament will be held on August 11, 2017. |
