In January Capt. Thomas Avilucea, USAF, led the chapter in welcoming Col. Thomas Brown, USAF, deputy director, communications and information, Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe. Col. Brown delivered a presentation on the Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century (AFSO21) initiative and discussed other techniques for survival under a subtopic titled "Turning Obstacles into Stepping Stones." |
