Young AFCEANs Honored at West Conference |
At the February West conference, co-sponsored by AFCEA International and the U.S. Naval Institute, three of the chapter's Young AFCEANs received awards. Theresa Holland and Sarah Thayer each received Distinguished Young AFCEAN Awards, and Kristina Kelly received an Emerging Leadership Award. In addition, the Young AFCEA Bethesda Chapter received a Model Young AFCEAN Program Award. National Capital Region Regional Vice President Alvie Johnson attended to support award winners. The chapter has worked hard to engage new members in new professional development panels and hopes to continue the momentum with a winter IT luncheon in March and a senior government executive dinner in July. |
