Luncheon Features Briefing on Navy Tactical Networks

In June, Capt. Kurt Rothenhaus, USN, program manager for the Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160), presented a program overview brief on the status of Navy afloat networks. He reviewed the current deployment scheduled for Consolidated Afloat Network Consolidated Services (CANES) and other programs, to include Compile to Combat in 24 Hours (C2C24). Additionally, the chapter held its bi-annual election of officers at this luncheon. Trevor Bender completed his term as president and Gary Brister was elected to assume the reigns of leadership for the next two years. Other volunteers were sustained in their respective roles.
