PMP Prep 101 |
Walter Shenberger, project management professional (PMP) instructor, spoke about preparing for PMP certification at the chapter's Lunch and Learn in August at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Shenberger's goal is to help demystify the process and set up everyone for success. He explained some of the requirements, including work and education experience. Applications should include project experience, along with the organization, description, references and domain area totals. Shenberger offered helpful hints on applying, such as timeline considerations and wording for project descriptions. He mentioned that veterans organizations such as Onward to Opportunity also can assist with obtaining the PMP. |
