Golf Tournament Raises Thousands for STEM Scholarships |
Golfers from government and industry joined a shotgun scramble in September at New Hampshire's Atkinson Country Club to benefit the chapter's education fund. The annual fall golf tournament raised thousands to support STEM scholarships. Craig Leiby, golf committee industry co-chair, welcomed guests to the post-tournament luncheon and thanked industry sponsors for supporting the event. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Dave Burke, golf committee government co-chair, awarded prizes to winning teams and announced raffle prize winners. Burke concluded by thanking golf committee volunteers and asking for a moment of silence in memory of Marie McClanahan, who chaired the chapter's diversity program for several years and supported countless events as a tireless volunteer. |
