Chapter Enjoys Fifth Annual Cycle for STEM Ride

In May, the chapter held its Fifth Annual Cycle for STEM ride on the beautiful Southern California coastline. Trevor Bender, immediate past chapter president, lead the "Fabulous Five" group of riders through the picturesque towns of Encinitas and Del Mar, California, then inland out to Poway, California, and back to the coast. The group included Trevor's 13-year-old daughter Aubree who, despite the rain, completed 40 miles on her longest ride ever. Also joining the field was Chairman of the Board Dave Grundies. A special shout-out to Leidos, a title sponsor who provided the rider jerseys. Other sponsors included Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte, Hitachi, American Systems, Globecomm, Cypher Analytics, Crown Point Systems, FTI, Nova Power Solutions, 4Liberty, the Sutherland Family, Sutherland Consulting, with Innovative Solutions continuing as the starting line sponsor.
