In March, the chapter held a luncheon with speaker Col. Aaron Drake, USAF, director of intelligence for U.S. Air Forces Central Command. Col. Drake spoke on the growing convergence between cyber and intelligence and the roadmap for the Air Force merger between the two mission areas. He discussed at length the importance of keeping up with the advancing technology in cyber war and the intelligence needed to stay ahead as the future of warfare is increasingly dependent on cyberspace, both as a separate domain as well as an enabler for the other traditional domains of war. The chapter also awarded one-year AFCEA memberships to two junior enlisted members. |
