YACs Tour High-Tech MassRobotics Lab |
In November, a group of chapter Young AFCEANs (YACs) led by Will Keller, YAC industry vice president, Booz Allen Hamilton, visited MassRobotics, the nation's leading innovation hub for robotics and connected device start-ups, to learn about some of the latest advancements in the field of robotics. Joyce Sidopoulos, co-founder, MassRobotics, and AFCEA International board member, as well as chapter secretary, led the group on a tour of the lab's shared workspace. Along with a tour of the entire facility, the YACs were treated to several demonstrations by the startups, including a water pipe inspection robot and a compact surveillance drone. |
