A Veteran's Perspective—Lifetime Commitments

The chapter welcomed Col. Jose "Rafi" Rodriguez, USAF, as the November luncheon speaker. Jose "Rafi" Rodriguez, USAF (Ret), speaking on "Success with an Accent-Rafi's Perspective" provided the audience his perspective on keeping your commitments and ascending the steps of life. Originally from Puerto Rico, Rodriguez graduated U.S. Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps, and served 26 years. He was an original Titan IV Engineer and worked missiles, weapon, foreign military sales, command and staff assignments. After culminating his successful military career in March 2004, he retired and pursued a financial advisor career. He now heads Rodriguez Financial Strategies LLC and is a founding member of Beavercreek Kiwanis Club, United Way Dayton and Air Camp USA. He received the President's Bronze Volunteer Award from President Bush in 2007. Luncheon corporate sponsors were Segue Technologies Inc, Cloud Lake Technology, The MITRE Corporation and FTI. Brenda Colton received the DWAFCEA Chapter Presidents Award for fifteen years of service.
