New Chapter President Appointed During Board Meeting

The chapter announced at the January Board Meeting the appointment of Nancy Roberts as chapter president. An experienced member of the board of directors, Roberts has been an AFCEA member since January of 2010. Roberts has demonstrated continuing leadership while organizing science fairs, evaluating STEM scholarship applications and serving as co-chairperson of the AFCEA golf tournament that provides funds for the chapter's STEM scholarships. Roberts also headed up the collection and projection of presentations at the C4I and Cyber Conferences. Currently, she is employed at the Air Force Research Laboratory/Information Directorate as a computer scientist. Rick Lockridge, former chapter president, handed over the gavel at the board meeting. The board unanimously approved a resolution thanking Rick for his outstanding service to the chapter.
