DAYTON-WRIGHT CHAPTER CHAPTER - Mar 28, 2022

Chapter Announces Available Scholarship Opportunities

The chapter is excited to announce this year's scholarship opportunities, supporting the leaders of tomorrow by providing scholarships to assist local students in reaching their goals. The chapter offers a variety of scholarships for students and military and has awarded scholarships spanning over twenty years for the local Wright-Patterson Air Force Base community.

This year, we're highlighting a scholarship of an Ohio graduate, Gen. Janet C. Wolfenbarger, USAF, and the Janet C. Wolfenbarger Scholarship. Gen. Wolfenbarger was the first woman to achieve the rank of four-star general in the Air Force, so preference will be given to female students who have an association with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (parent or guardian of a civilian employee, military, or contractor) or a person who is a current or former student at Bavercreek High School.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens and must be seeking a STEM-related degree from an accredited secondary institution. They must exhibit strong leadership skills, demonstrate community service/involvement and have maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.3 in high school or college.

If you or someone you know qualifies, apply online today at https://daytonwrightafcea.wildapricot.org/Scholarships/
For more information, contact the chapter at education.dwafcea@gmail.com. Applications must be received by May 15, 2022, to be considered for a 2022 award.
