Chapter Holds 11th Annual Gold Circle Event Virtually

Google Cloud sponsored the chapter's Gold Circle session held in conjunction with the chapter's New Horizons Symposium in April. Mark Maybury, chief technology officer, Stanley Black and Decker (SBD), was the guest speaker. Maybury discussed "Factories of the Future, Empowering Economic and National Security." In his presentation, he suggested that economic power is essential to the future and national security, research and development feed innovation, innovation feeds economic power, and diversity and inclusion drive innovation. Using SBD examples, he discussed how his company partners with other innovative companies to collaborate, innovate and grow. Additionally, he noted that of paramount importance is a strong commitment to continuous evolution to sustain economic power.
