Student Research and Development Projects Presented at the Annual Meeting

The chapter participated in the sixth annual student clubs meeting in September at the Portuguese Military Institute University (IUM) with representatives from government, industry and academia to share information and opportunities about defense research and development. Participants included Jorge Reis Silva, professor and faculty adviser, and other professors as well as students.

The student chapters in Portugal presented their research and development projects, followed by a debate moderated by Jose Borges, Portuguese Military Academy professor and Portugal Chapter vice president.

University of Beira Interior student Bernardo Sequeiros, chapter president, delivered a video presenting the student projects during the Covilha chapter presentation.
