Chapter Honors Unsung Heroes

Over 100 attendees gathered at the Hanscom Minuteman Commons to celebrate the 2022 AFCEA Unsung Hero Awards Ceremony. The Unsung Hero Awards was established by the Lexington-Concord Chapter, in partnership with Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) Leadership, to recognize those who diligently go above and beyond to support their respective organizations. Col. Taona Enriquez, USAF, commander, 66th Air Base Group; Steven Wert, program executive officer (PEO), Digital director; Jeremy Thiele, PEO, Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) director; and Scott Hardiman, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) director, awarded Capt. Nick Petrovich, C3IN, Linda Lyerly, Digital Directorate, Michael Clark, NC3, Lauralee Morris, Hanscom AFB resident advocate, Master Sgt. Marisela Garcia, USAF, Massachusetts National Guard Joint Force Headquarters, Jennifer McCarthy, Financial Management, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom, and Jamie Thurber, outgoing chapter president, for their exceptional performance and tireless dedication.
