Arming the Eagle, Outpacing the Dragon With Dan Ward

On behalf of the chapter, Ryan Connell, chapter vice president of Programs, welcomed Dan Ward, senior principal systems engineer at The MITRE Corporation, to discuss his paper, Arming the Eagle, Outpacing the Dragon: Understanding and Outcompeting China's Defense Acquisition and Innovation System (https://www.mitre.org/sites/default/files/2022-06/pr-21-01346-10-arming-the-eagle-outpacing-the-dragon.pdf). Ward is an innovation catalyst and systems engineer at The MITRE Corporation. He previously served for more than 20 years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he specialized in leading small, high-speed, low-cost technology development programs.
