Chapter Hosts Conference on International Cybersecurity Conference

In May, the chapter participated in the IV International Cybersecurity Conference, held at the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, in the northern interior of Portugal.

Rear Adm. Carlos Rodolfo, PRT N (Ret.), regional vice president of AFCEA International's Atlantic Region, spoke in a face-to-face presentation on the theme, "AFCEA and Its Action in the Areas of Cybersecurity and Cyber Defense" as a forum for debate on these topics. Following Adm. Rodolfo's presentation, Jose Borges, chapter vice president and professor of the Portuguese Military Academy, held a videoconference on "Cybersecurity Skills."

Adm. Rodolfo took the opportunity to present Francisco Brigas, president of the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, with a commemorative book about the association and its activities.
