Chapter Supports Latinitas Conference

The chapter worked with the local community to provide gift bags and assist with sponsoring the Latinitas Conference in October at the Capital Factory at Boeing Center in Tech Port, San Antonio. The Latinitas Conference holds immense importance for the Latinx community and beyond. This event offers a unique platform for young Latinx girls between the ages of 9 and 14 and women to come together and celebrate their shared identity, culture and achievements. By bringing together a diverse range of experts, professionals and influencers, the conference offers invaluable opportunities for networking, mentorship and learning. The workshops and activities at the event are carefully curated to address the specific needs and challenges faced by Latinx girls and women in various fields, including education, entrepreneurship and technology. The chapter also worked with Youth Code Jam to provide their "Jam in a Box" set, containing multiple activities and materials for kids to learn the fundamentals of coding in after-school settings.
