Chapter Hosts C4ISR Symposium and Annual Awards Ceremony

After being rescheduled due to a potential government shutdown, the long-awaited C4ISR Symposium two-day event was held in November in San Diego at the beautiful Marina Village Conference Center. This year's symposium focused on improving government and industry preparedness in the field of C4ISR through cooperation, association and the encouragement of education in related technical fields.

Immediately following the events on day one, the chapter held the annual Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to all the nominees and individual award winners for the Rookie of the Year and Jim Loiselle Volunteer of the Year Awards!

The Rookie of the Year nominees were:

1) Jocelyn Hartvigson, chapter vice president for marketing and communications
2) Jonas Lazo, chapter deputy vice president for marketing and communications
3) Oscar Mancia, chapter vice president for small business
4) Emilie Vicchio, chapter deputy vice president for small business

The Rookie of the Year winner was Jocelyn Hartvigson.

Jim Loiselle Volunteer of the Year nominees were:
1) Emily Gwozdz, chapter vice president for membership and former chapter vice president and regional representative for Emerging Leaders
2) Tim Miller, chapter treasurer, vice president for programs and former 2023 AFCEA/NDIA Fall Golf Event organizer
3) Ana Olson, chapter deputy vice president for programs, deputy chair for the C4ISR Symposium and chapter new executive vice president
The Jim Loiselle Volunteer of the Year winner was Ana Olson.
