Grants for Local Schools Increase Awareness and Interest in STEM |
The chapter was proud to award $1,600 in STEM grants to local schools. These awards were used to enhance STEM activities and increase awareness and interest in STEM-related fields of study. Grants will be used for designing and printing 3D problem-solving solutions. The purchase of robotics kits focused on project-based learning in robotics, electronics and engineering design. The purchase of windmill kits enabled students to employ the engineering and design process to work in collaborative teams to build and design their own windmills. |
