Meritorious Service Award Presented to Kateřina Anna Magnna

In May, AFCEA International Regional Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe Petr Jirasek presented the Regional Meritorious Service Award to Katerina Anna Magnna, government affairs lead for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary at Microsoft, in recognition of her outstanding and long-term collaboration with the chapter.

The award honors Magnna's sustained contributions to the success of the chapter's conferences and initiatives, particularly in the areas of responsible artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and digital transformation. Her leadership has played a vital role in promoting ethical standards and socially responsible approaches in the rapidly evolving field of AI.

Through her professional expertise and ability to connect government, industry and academia, Magnna has helped to foster informed discussion and practical understanding of responsible AI practices. Her support has been instrumental in advancing public and private sector innovation, benefiting the wider digital and security ecosystem in Slovakia.
