Strengthening Security Cooperation: A Strategic Dialogue

On the occasion of the graduation ceremony at the Milan Rastislav Stefanik Armed Forces Academy in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia, the President of the Slovak Republic H.E. Peter Pellegrini met with the Chapter Vice President Col. Ladislav Kollarik (Ret.). Their meeting marked a significant step toward enhancing national and international cooperation in the field of security and resilience.

During their discussion, both leaders expressed a shared commitment to deepening collaboration through future joint initiatives. These efforts aim to strengthen Slovakia's strategic capabilities and foster innovation in defense and cybersecurity.

This dialogue underscores the importance of partnerships between state institutions and professional organizations in addressing evolving security challenges.

The chapter, in cooperation with the M. R. Stefanik Armed Forces Academy in Liptovsky Mikulas, is preparing the second edition of the AFCEA regional conference dedicated to cyber defence and innovation. The first edition was held in 2025 with the support of the regional vice president of AFCEA International for Central and Eastern Europe. The second edition will take place in Slovakia in the spring of 2026.
