HAWAII CHAPTER CHAPTER - Aug 13, 2025 |
A Hui Hou to Lt. Col. Jack Murphy |
In Hawaiian, "until we meet again" is often expressed as "A hui hou." In August, the chapter honored Lt. Col. Jack Murphy, USAF (Ret.), at its monthly luncheon before his relocation to the Mainland. Murphy has been a member of AFCEA since 1992-that's 33 years and counting. He has served in many volunteer roles with the chapter to include vice president for awards, chairman of the AFCEA scholarship selection and awards committee, co-chairman of the TechNet Asia-Pacific (TNAP) 2015-2017 panel moderator and member selection committee, a volunteer judge for the state of Hawaii Science Fair and a member of the AFCEA Hawaii board of directors as treasurer and later, board advisor. |
