Chapter Supports High School Science Fair

Chapter members were pleased to participate in the Laurel High School's January 2026 STEM Fair in Laurel, Maryland. Chapter Chairperson of the Board Tracey Michael, Chapter Scientific Education Vice President James Moore, Chapter Communications Vice President Elizabeth Haroth, Chapter Technology Vice President Chad Michael, and Chapter Strategic Partnerships Vice President Monte Blakely served as science fair project judges. The chapter members enjoyed discussing the projects with students and were amazed by the high level of talent and scientific knowledge they displayed.

One of AFCEA's core tenets is to encourage STEM education and the Central Maryland Chapter is always proud to provide support to achieve this goal.
