Commander Discusses State of the AFLCMC, Mission Achievements and Workforce Resilience

The chapter hosted its State of AFLCMC Luncheon in February at the Marriott in Burlington, Massachusetts, featuring keynote speaker Lt. Gen. Donna Shipton, commander of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.

Shipton reflected on the center's successes during a particularly challenging year, highlighting mission achievements, workforce resilience and acquisition advancements. She also outlined key priorities and emerging challenges for the year ahead. The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where government and industry attendees addressed questions directly to the commander.

A notable highlight included the chapter's $5,000 donation to Operation Warmheart, presented by Chairman Mike McGinley. Special Thanks to the chapter sponsors: Abacus Technology, Applied Research Solutions (ARS), Boeing, Odyssey Systems, PESystems, Quantech Services and SAIC.
