Chapter Co-Hosts the AUSA Gingerbread Ball

In December 2025, the chapter partnered with the Monmouth Chapter of the AUSA, the Jersey Chapter of the Army Aviation Association of America, the Eatontown Industrial Park Association, and Inspired Foods LLC to host the Annual Gingerbread Ball at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

The event brought together 175 guests for an evening of fine dining, live music by the Jazz Lobsters, a chance auction and a gingerbread house baking competition.

As part of its commitment to supporting the community, the AFCEA Greater Monmouth Chapter donated $5,000 to the Fisher House Foundation. All proceeds from the evening, including AFCEA's generous contribution, will benefit this vital organization.

The chapter officers, Deana DePaz and Trish Dolegiewitz, showcased their creativity in the Gingerbread House Contest with a Jersey-themed beach hut and tiki bar entry in the amateur category, earning an impressive second-place win.
