Guest Speaker Discusses Adapting to the Times

Brig. Gen. Vincent Buggs, USA (Ret.), visited the chapter and spoke about adapting to today's needs on both the human and technology side. Buggs shared his experiences in both the military and the commercial world, while providing insight on how both of these sectors can combat everyday challenges. Buggs stated that businesses fail based on the inability to adapt to the times. Businesses need the "old hats" to keep the policies in place while also collaborating with the "young guns" to relate to the next generation and stay up with the latest technology. Lastly, Buggs spoke about how organizations need to build a culture, that is not only diverse, but is packed with problem solvers. Those that don't evolve, will eventually fail.
