SEOUL CHAPTER CHAPTER - Apr 23, 2008

Enterprise Network and IT Challenges

Seoul Chapter members and guests were honored to have Daniel Q. Bradford, director of Enterprise Systems Technology Activity, senior technical director/chief engineer, Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM)/9th Signal Corps (Army), as the featured guest speaker during the April luncheon, which was held in conjunction with the Korea LandWarNet training conference. Mr. Bradford explained LandWarNet is a means for soldiers, leaders and units to conduct information-enabled joint warfighting and supporting operations. He also discussed the Army's information technology challenges and the ongoing developments in its enterprise network. Mr. Bradford concluded his presentation by emphasizing the goal of enterprise network is to develop one network that can provide centralized services, enable network-dependent expeditionary capabilities and provide significant improvement in the computer network defense posture.
