Exchange Student Impresses with Spatial Interference Project

At the U.S. Coast Guard Academy scholarship awards ceremony in May, Cadet First Class Manatchai Fangsuwannark, USCG, an exchange student from Thailand, received the AFCEA award from Cdr. Gregory Johnson, USCG, for his senior design project, 'Removing Spatial Interference from Digital Images.' The AFCEA award is given to the cadet who demonstrates the highest proficiency and skill in communications and electronics.
