C4ISRs Role in U.S. Navy Operations |
In July, the chapter collaborated for the first time with the Central Florida Chapter of the Navy League of the United States (NLUS) for the monthly luncheon. Dr. Roger Smith, chapter president, and Jeff Jancek, NLUS chapter president, presided over the luncheon, which featured Robert M. Matthews, director of acquisition and operations, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division. His presentation examined U.S. Navy organizations, operations and new programs and discussed the Navy's efforts in the war against terrorism. Matthews also highlighted the role that C4ISR plays in naval operations. |
