In December, Maj. Gen. Dennis L. Via, USA, commander, U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC), provided an overview on the current state of CECOM. Gen. Via focused on CECOM LCMC's accomplishments and how they have contributed to the success and safety of the warfighter. He also discussed the ongoing changes and events at Fort Monmouth as the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) deadline of September 2011 approaches. The general highlighted the new state-of-the-art facilities that are being constructed at Aberdeen Proving Ground and emphasized the benefits of the move. |
