Maj. Gen. John W. Maluda, USAF, director, Cyberspace Transformation and Strategy, Secretary of the Air Force Office of Warfighting Integration, and chief information officer (SAF/XC), the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., addressed the chapter as the November meeting's featured speaker. Gen. Maluda detailed the Air Force chief of staff's top five priorities and the Air Force's role in the Global War on Terrorism. He also discussed the SAF/XC's key focus areas, which include Air Force Network Operations and workforce transformation efforts. This was the chapter's first meeting in more than two years. Essye Miller, chapter president, encouraged attendees to become engaged and to actively participate in helping the chapter establish itself.
