Lieutenant Colonel Karl Fisher is a Program Manager in the Strategic Technology Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). He joined DARPA in June 2022 as a Commandant of the Marine Corps Service Chief Fellow, transitioning to his current role in July 2023 with an assignment from the Marine Innovation Unit.
Prior to his tenure at DARPA, LtCol Fisher was a naval concept developer at the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory. There, he supported the development of operational concepts, including Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations, Littoral Operations in a Contested Environment and Stand-in Forces.
As a CH-53E pilot, LtCol Fisher has deployed with both the 31st and 15th Marine Expeditionary Units.
