Please join us for the Official AFCEA Space Coast
Launch on Wednesday April 24th, 2024, 5:00 pm to
7:00 pm at the Tides Club at Patrick Space Force
Base (SFB).
The Space Coast has been holding AFCEA meetings
for the past year and on 4.24.24 our distinguished
guest speaker Col. Michael Black, USAF (Ret.) will
present us with our official Space Coast AFCEA
Charter.
AFCEA is a professional association based in
Washington, D.C. and is an educationally oriented,
non-profit, technical society. AFCEA members and
constituents include professionals in the
military, government, industry, and academia.
Be a part of this historic event celebrating the
Launch of this rapidly growing Space Coast
Chapter. AFCEA Space Coast Chapter is home to
professionals, DIB, Industry partners, and
government representatives where members are
looking to build networks, grow relationships and
expand opportunities.

Col. Michael Black, USAF (Ret.), is the Vice
President for Defense of AFCEA International. Mr.
Black served 26 years in the Air Force and retired
as a Colonel. After the military Mr. Black served
as a COO for multiple companies and brings a
wealth of knowledge to AFCEA International. Mr.
Black is focused on providing opportunities for
engagement between and among government, industry,
and academia, where training and education are
hallmarks of AFCEA International events and
continuous learning is a highlight of each
individual event.
