Rick Tangeman is the Co-Founder, Owner and
President of HarborLink Network, Ltd, which he and
his brother founded in 1999. Under his leadership,
HarborLink has been recognized by the Gartner
Group as a "pioneer" in the Wi-Fi industry for
developing one of the first free-to-user wireless
networks incorporating the first advertising-based
model.
HarborLink has grown from its early days of
designing, deploying and operating over 1,200
high-speed wireless internet access hotspots, to
being a full service wireless network solutions
provider with an emphasis on customized
applications, next-level analytics, security and
location insight.
Mr. Tangeman has had the privilege of sitting on
numerous boards and professional panels as a
subject matter expert and been a
consultant/reference for several wireless
manufacturers; namely Juniper Mist Systems, Cisco,
Airspace, Aruba Networks, Ruckus Wireless, and
Proxim. His latest passion is working directly
with commercial and non-commercial customers to
bring next generation solutions via the
convergence of newly available Private 5G
technology and the latest in Wi-Fi networking
tools. |
