1. HOW TO ENTER
You will be entered into the drawing for several AFCEA-centric prizes when you fully complete your survey response, and submit it electronically in accordance with the instructions. In the alternative, you may enter into the drawing without fully completing and submitting the survey as provided above by legibly writing your name, address, email address and “AFCEA International Logo Survey Sweepstakes” on a postcard or paper (postcard size or larger) and mailing it to: AFCEA International, 4114 Legato Road, Suite 1000, Fairfax VA 22033. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the Promotion Period end date and received within seven (7) days thereafter. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Write-in entries must contain all entry fields outlined above; otherwise, they are void and will not be eligible to win.
Regardless of the entry method used to enter the Sweepstakes, there is a limit of one (1) entry(ies) per person/email address. Entries beyond the stated limit from the same person or email address will be disqualified. Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities, and/or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entry and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Entries must be received before the close of survey fieldwork at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (U.S.) on July 13, 2026, (the Promotion Period). For entrants in Canada (excluding Quebec) and Europe, the entry deadline corresponds to your local time. All entries become the sole property of AFCEA International and will not be returned. Late, lost, delayed, illegible, or incomplete entries will not be considered. Readex Research nor AFCEA International are responsible for mail, technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connection; or failed, incomplete, delayed, or misconfigured data transmissions that may affect registrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. AFCEA International reserves the rights to change or terminate this Sweepstakes without notice.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the United States, Canada, and countries within Europe in which this sweepstakes is lawfully offered who, at the time of entry and the time of prize fulfillment: (a) are the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (and at least eighteen (18) years of age, and (b) are physically residing in all included jurisdiction. Employees, officers and directors of AFCEA International, Readex Research, and each of their affiliates, as well as immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each such person, are not eligible to enter. "Immediate family member" shall be deemed to mean husband, wife, children, mother, father, sister, sister in-law, brother, or brother in-law. Subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED, BY LAW. Late, lost, delayed, illegible, or incomplete entries will not be eligible.
3. DRAWING
The winner(s) will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the entry period. All entries must be received before the close of survey fieldwork, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (U.S.) on ____________, 2026. The drawing will be conducted at the offices of AFCEA International in Fairfax, VA. Limit one (1) prize per person or email address. Winners will be selected randomly through the use of a computer program. All determinations are final, irrevocable, and binding. Odds of winning will vary based upon the number of eligible entries. By their participation, all Entrants agree to be bound by, and comply with, these Official Sweepstakes Rules. AFCEA International, Readex Research and their affiliates are not responsible for any delays or damage to submissions of any kind, which may affect any Entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. AFCEA International reserves the right to change, replace or terminate this Sweepstakes or the prize without notice, subject to applicable laws and these Official Sweepstakes Rules. Any winner who fails to comply with these Official Sweepstakes Rules, or is otherwise ineligible, may be disqualified and a substitute winner may be selected.
4. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
The winner(s) will be notified promptly upon the conclusion of the survey fieldwork, by notification sent by electronic mail at the email address provided by each winner. To claim the prize, each winner must respond within seven (7) days of the date of the notification. For prizes valued at $600 or more, each winner will be required, within fourteen (14) days of the date of notification, to sign and submit to AFCEA International an affidavit of eligibility and provide a completed IRS Form W-9 for tax reporting purposes. For non-U.S. winners, the winner(s) may be required to complete necessary tax forms and subject to tax withholding where required by applicable law. If prize notification is returned undelivered/undeliverable for any reason, or winner fails to claim the prize as set forth above, the prize will be forfeited and the sweepstakes deemed completed. If the winner claims the prize as set forth above, AFCEA International shall provide the winner with the prize not later than thirty (30) days after claiming the prize. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to the use of his/her name (first name and first initial of last name) accompanied by city and state of residence in any promotional displays or activities related to this sweepstakes without any additional compensation, except where prohibited.
5. PRIZE(S), TAXES, RELEASE
Prizes consist of small electronic accessories or gadgets (the “Prize(s)”). The approximate retail value of each Prize is less than U.S. $600. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to be responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes incurred. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to hold AFCEA International, Readex Research and affiliates harmless for all claims (including, but not limited to warranty claims and injuries to persons and property), and further to release the same from any and all liability for injuries and/or damages sustained as a result of the prize. Prizes will be delivered to the address provided by each winner and no substitutions for prizes will be permitted except as provided herein.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS
The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the Entrant to automatically enter the Sweepstakes repeatedly is prohibited. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of AFCEA International which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, AFCEA International reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, READEX RESEARCH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. READEX RESEARCH’S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.
AFCEA International shall not be responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer system, server, service providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by AFCEA International on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrant's or any other person's computer equipment relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes. All entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.
The Mailer of this Sweepstakes is AFCEA Internation via Readex, Inc., Stillwater, MN. The personal information you submit when you enter the Sweepstakes is collected by AFCEA International and Readex Research and will be subject to the privacy policy located at https://www.afcea.org/privacy-policy. Any information collected will be used for sweepstakes fulfillment purposes only, unless otherwise stated on the entry form.
