Career Fair Assists Veterans |
The chapter held its first ever Veterans Career and Resource Fair in conjunction with the National Defense Industrial Association's Gold Coast Conference. The event was extremely successful with more than 150 veteran job seekers attending to meet with more than 47 companies. Jim Loiselle, chapter president, and David Dickey, chair of the chapter's Veteran's Retraining Initiative, kicked off the event with a ribbon cutting. In addition, Rep. Bob Filner (D-CA), 51st District, gave an uplifting keynote address to attendees. |
