Outstanding Services Awards Presented

In March, during the chapter's general assembly, Rear Adm. Carlos Rodolfo, PRT N (Ret.) and Rear Adm. Mario Durao, PRT N, awarded the AFCEA Medal for Outstanding Services in 2015 to the following members: Victor Lopes Dias, ESRI Portugal; Helder Alves, INDRA Portugal; Nuno Paiva, LUSIS; Marco Galinha, FUTURETE; and Sergio Barbedo, THALES. The award recognizes the outstanding contribution to the association, in particular the support to academic prizes and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities in schools.
