Chapter Supports 8th Aviation and Avionics Systems Seminar and B2B Meetings and Expo

The eighth Aviation and Avionics Systems Seminar and B2B Meetings and Exposition was organized by Electronics Valley Inc., an organization creating a communications platform for a wide spectrum of industries specialized in aviation, aerospace and defense technologies. The October event was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ankara, Turkey and attracted more than 400 aerospace and defense industry professionals from local and international organizations, companies and research institutes. In addition to the main sponsor, Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) and the main supporter, ASELSAN Inc., the chapter also invested great effort in the organization of this event, which was also sponsored by 20 industry-leading companies. The event featured business-to-business meetings, a technology exhibition and presentation sessions. The presentation sessions included six technical workshops, 18 presentations and one advanced short course. Aviation professionals, aerospace engineers, defense community officials and other high-technology enthusiasts benefited greatly by attending this unique event. The attendees also were introduced to the most recent top-notch technologies demonstrated by 15 different manufacturers exhibited during the event. The chapter's booth also drew a lot of visitors. Electronics Valley and the chapter will continue to host similar events in upcoming years, including in 2017.
