Chapter Visits Lisbon Cruise Terminal

In November the chapter promoted a visit to the new Lisbon Cruise Terminal (LCT). More than 25 members participated. The visit, organized in collaboration with the Port of Lisbon Administration (APL), was conducted by Eng. Rui Pinto and Dra. Filipa Fouto from the terminal concessionaire and Eng. Carlos Correia from APL. The event was of great interest and an opportunity to learn more about the new infrastructure, designed as a modern and flexible terminal in order to easily adapt to the characteristics of the ships and the passengers. It was noted that the materials and the equipment used for the Port Security Operations earned LCT the recognition of Europe's safest port.
