Getting Fit to Support Aviation's Past

In March, participants in the chapter's Young AFCEAN Advisory Council "Get Fit" program completed the Enlisted Heritage Hall (EHH) 5K and Montgomery Half Marathon. The team consisted of young professionals from the military, government and industry, who met early on a sunny Saturday morning in downtown Montgomery, Alabama, to run for a good cause. The annual event provides funding to maintain and create new exhibits for the EHH at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, Alabama. The EHH houses exhibits and artifacts honoring the contributions of enlisted airmen throughout aviation history. The Young AFCEANs are proud to support worthy causes and look forward to future Get Fit events, including the Centerpoint Half Marathon and 5K in April.
