Cyber Forum Takes Up Security and Privacy at the Speed of Business

The chapter, in partnership with IDC Portugal for the seventh consecutive year, hosted the Cybersecurity Forum 2018 in May at Portugal's New University of Lisbon (NOVA). More than 280 representatives from the military, industry and scientific community attended the forum, themed "Security and Privacy at the Speed of Business." The forum's objective was to analyze security professionals' challenges in keeping organizations secure, as business operates at an often ferocious pace, while ensuring compliance with the GDPR. At the first Cyber Hack during the forum, 10 representatives of industry, academia and the military participated in a cybersecurity challenge.
