Students Schooled on Local Tech Jobs

The chapter's Education Foundation hosted a High School Education Day in August, providing students a wealth of opportunities to learn about information technology careers in the military and industry. As part of the day, 600 high school students were escorted around the vendor floor of the Air Force Information Technology and Cyberpower Conference. Students also watched a video about successful women in STEM professions who are working in the local community. The video highlighted diversity in STEM fields and the many opportunities in the region.
