YAACs Learn the Art of Writing a Resume

The chapter's Young AFCEAN Advisory Council, in partnership with Google Veterans Network, sponsored a resume writing workshop in February at the Hilton Garden Inn in Montgomery, Alabama. The event was attended by a full house of military, civilian and industry members. The session opened with introductions and a brief presentation about Google and the veteran community. Then they discussed hiring from the viewpoint of the staffing agency, followed by tips for writing your resume and highlighting your experience. Finally, attendees sat with resume counselors to receive one-on-one assistance and left the workshop with an updated resume.
