Artificial Intelligence and Information Exchange

The chapter and Technology First held a joint July luncheon, spotlighting Artificial Intelligence and Automation: Overview and Anticipated Impacts. The speaker was David J. Wright, director of Academic Technology & Curriculum Innovation at the University of Dayton (UD). Wright holds a doctorate degree from University of Iowa and a bachelor of science degree from University of Sheffield in England. He has 25 years teaching experience at UD and is a strong proponent of technology enhancements to support learning. Prior experiences include the development of one of the very first learning management systems and software development for NASA's manned space program. The chapter's August 15 luncheon will feature small and medium-sized enterprise discussion on cloud migration and will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 3520 Pentagon Blvd, Beavercreek, Ohio.
