The U.S. Army Network Is Changing

In September, Team Tobyhanna was honored to host Portia Crowe, cyber electronics activities advisor, Science and Technology, Network Cross-Functional Team, Army Futures Command, and Lt. Col. Brandon Baer, USA, program manager for the U.S. Army's integrated tactical network. During a luncheon hosted by the chapter, the guest speakers discussed the U.S. Army's network modernization strategy, including cyber, data convergence, the integrated tactical network (ITN) and sustainment. The ITN will include the fielding of systems from existing programs of record as well as systems resulting from prototyping and experimentation in operational units so that informed requirements for the future can be established. The ITN will be fielded in two-year increments beginning in fiscal year 2021.
