Medal of Merit Award Presented at Prague Castle

At the chapter meeting in November held at Prague Castle, Petr Jirasek, regional vice president, Central Eastern Europe, presented the AFCEA International Medal of Merit and Regional Vice President Coin for outstanding service to Maj. Gen. Jan Kase, chief of staff of the Military Office of the President of the Czech Republic. Gen. Kase has supported AFCEA and its activities for almost a decade as chapter honorary vice president. He is the former commander of Czech Signal Corps and security director of the Ministry of Defence.
