PEO Discusses the State of BES

In November, the chapter hosted a luncheon featuring guest speaker Richard Aldridge, program executive officer (PEO) for Business and Enterprise Systems (BES), at Wynlakes Country Club in Montgomery, Alabama. Aldridge spoke to a full house of military, industry and government personnel on the "State of the Next BES." First, Aldridge gave an overview of where the Air Force (AF) is going in the next several years, including a quick overview of AF digital modernization and the ongoing threat of China's cyber capabilities. He then went over BES 2.0 and how those changes align with the bigger Air Force goals. Finally, Aldridge discussed BESPIN [Business and Enterprise Systems Product Innovation] and how it is providing users with the software they need, when they need it.
