Chapter Hosts Third Annual MacDill Tech Expo

The Third Annual MacDill Air Force Base Tech Expo was held at the Surf's Edge Club on base in December. The event featured several tech briefings and over 60 industry vendors displaying the latest technologies, information, and provided opportunities to speak one-on-one with dozens of companies and discover new advances to products and programs. The chapter strongly supports this event each year as it is an opportunity for industry to interact with key personnel from the major commands and units that make up the 6th Air Mobility Wing, including the 6th Maintenance Group, 6th Medical Group, 6th Operations Group, 6th Mission Support Group and Mission Teammates U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, Joint Communication Support Element and more. MacDill is one of the rare installations that is home to all areas of the military-Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines. This year's event had a great turnout and the chapter expects continued success with it in the future.
